LITERATURA

We read age-appropriate books with your little ones. They are allowed to turn the pages, point to pictures, and interact with the books. These simple things foster literacy.

We give children the opportunity to pick which books we read, though some books go with weekly themes. This gives them a sense of independence and control. It will also help them develop a love for reading because they get to read things that interest them. 

Older children can read on their own, but Tiny Hands & Laughter Friends can too. We will give children time to explore books, words, printed materials, and pictures. This helps create literacy awareness.

Kids learn through repetition. We make story time a regular part of each day. That way children are constantly exposed to books. We want to make reading an enjoyable habit.

We encourage parents/guardians to read to and with your children. It increases brain growth and development, cognitive skills and motivation. Ask us to borrow books that your children may like.

We regularly update our library to reflect our children and their family and friends. We want to make sure our children have access to high quality and interest so they are excited about reading.
